The Name Game
We’re updating and expanding our awning product line to make it easier to understand and choose the right option for your project for temporary, unique signage for your awnings.
Our original GripAwn product is now referred to as DG (Decal Grip on AwnFlex); a 2mil matte laminated decal applied over our AwnFlex fabric panel, creating a smooth, uniform matte finish where only the decal is visible.*
We’ve also introduced LD (Lettering alone over AwnFlex Lettering), featuring gloss lettering and optional graphics applied directly onto our proprietary black 600 denier AwnFlex fabric. This option highlights the texture and look of the fabric, with the black background remaining visible around the design.*
New to the lineup is AD (Adhere Direct) lettering, a versatile gloss product designed to apply directly to compatible surfaces—including awnings (non-silicone), windows, vehicles, walls, and more.*
In addition, we still offer our popular AwnFlex material in bulk, available by the roll or linear yard in 54" and new 26" widths, giving you more flexibility for custom applications and large-scale projects.*
*Always test first to make sure your awning fabric is not treated with silicone (nothing will stick to that). Order a small test sample of DGA, DTA and AD, now!
Final product names are coming soon, but these working labels reflect our expanded capabilities and make it easier to identify the right solution for your needs.
