The Name Game, simplified

We’ve updated our awning product names to make it easier to understand what each option does. Start by testing your surface first, then choose the product based on whether you need a full printed panel, visible GripAwn fabric with lettering, or standalone DIY graphics.

Always test first. If your awning fabric has silicone or another non-stick treatment, adhesives will not bond. Order a sample before placing a larger order. We have more solutions if there's silicone.

Full printed panel

GripAwn MDS Matte Decal System

Choose this when you want a full awning logo or to create a new full printed awning face.

This is a matte-laminated 2-mil decal over GripAwn fabric.
Best for large graphics where a matte decal is preferred.
Gives the look of a new printed panel or logo image for much less than replacing the awning.

Fabric + lettering

NEW GripAwn F&L Fabric and Letters

Choose this when you want the black fabric to remain visible, with letters and graphics applied only as needed.

Black fabric is the background; lettering and logos sit on top.
Best when you want a fabric panel instead of a full printed decal.
Best for simple letters and logotypes where seeing the fabric matters.

DIY graphics only

NEW DirectDecals

Direct-apply decals for Awnings, Windows and Walls. Choose this when you want stand-alone letters, logos, or graphics to apply yourself to an awning or other compatible surface.

No GripAwn or background panel; these are DIY graphics only.
Good for awnings, windows, vehicles, walls, and more without a cover-up panel. Test first.
Designed as a direct-apply, cost-effective option; test first before ordering larger pieces.
